About Novelty Phones

Diner novelty phoneHave you ever considered owning a novelty phone?  It certainly brightens up any room. It can be the talking point for your friends during conversation on or off the phone.

Novelty phones express the personality of the individual and they make a statement of who you are.  If you are a Star Wars, Lara Croft, Dr Who or Garfield fan you can have a small piece of them with you in your room.  They are a joy to have as an ornament too.

For the independent woman a suggested novelty phone might be a pair of pink lips or a stiletto shoe.

A young child who loves all things Disney might have a Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck in their room.

If you own a bed and breakfast or have family and friends to stay you might consider a boudoir phone to suit the décor and the period of the house.

If your home was built maybe in the 1970’s or 1980’s you could purchase a traditional dial phone or trim phone. These phones could be suited to your colour scheme of the room.

If Gothic is more your thing, you could own a skull phone and surprise your friends when it rings!

Before buying your Novelty phone consider the many choices you have to suit what you really want and your budget too.

  • Can the phone be wall mounted or placed on a table top.
  • Are you happy with plastic coated or are you looking for real wood.  This would be mainly on the 1920’s version of phones.
  • Is the character phone the correct one I would like.
  • Is the ring tone what I wanted.
  • Is it in the style and colour that’s right for me and my home.

Always remember to shop around online once you have an idea of what you want.  You usually get a lot more choice online and a better price quote too than buying on the High Street. Novelty phones make ideal gifts for any occasion and are good value for money.
