American Diner Telephones

American diner telephones are a stylish and practical way to furnish your kitchen diner yet bringing some retro chic into your home or business.

The fully working American diner telephone is wall mounted with a side cradle and curly cable. It has a black plastic finish with a white silver trim.

In the 1950’s the American diner telephones were originally pay phones. Today they still retain their three slots for coins which is connected to a lower storage area which is access via lock and key. This can now be used as a ‘piggy bank’ for most coins. The phone no longer needs coins to be used though it is a novelty to hear the jingle of the coins and a ‘ping’ as they enter the payphone slot.

This diner phone is easy to install and use. It uses a standard phone line which you simply plug in and use. Guaranteed to be a conversation starter for any home or business.

I’ve had my Diner phone for a couple of years and it works well. The handset is well made and the chord is very long. Sound is good with a loud ring and you can put your change into it as a money box. A great buy.
