Retro phones are a great way to help create a themed room or area in your house. They bring back many memories of what is for many “the good ol’ days” and for the more mature people amongst us, we will always remember our first phone. These phones are such classic designs they are almost timeless and would grace any home decor.
It meant for a start, that we didn’t have to go to a public telephone box and wait in a queue to make a call with people listening to our conversation. It also meant that in an emergency the phone was at hand and it made us feel more safe.
It was so modern to have a phone back in the fifties and sixties, something we take for granted now and sometimes wish we didn’t have one at all when the person on the other end is an uninvited caller trying to sell something we don’t want.
